Admissions

Admissions

We are always happy to show prospective parents round our school so that parents can get a feel of what our school is like. Please call us to book an appointment.

Main School Admissions

Children will be admitted into main school in the September following their fourth birthday.

Cambridgeshire Local Authority manages all main school admissions on our behalf and can be contacted via their website at:  Admissions at Cambridgeshire County Council

This website has all of the details you need on how to apply for a school place - either at the start of a year, or during the school year. Click here to read a guide to the application process.

If parents wish to appeal against a decision relating to admissions for Clarkson Infant School, this must be done in writing and a form can be obtained from the school office. The school follows the appeals process of Cambridgeshire Local Authority. Further information on this process can be found on the Cambridgeshire County Council website.

Nursery Admissions

Applications will be accepted from children seeking admission in the term after their third birthday until the term before they transfer to Reception class.

Please obtain an application form from our school office.

PLEASE NOTE: A place in the Clarkson Nursery Class does not guarantee a place for your child in our Reception Class. You must apply, as outlined above, for admission to the main school.
