Friday 11th October

As part of our Space topic, we have been looking at a book called ‘Beegu’ by Alexis Deacon.
The main character, Beegu, arrives on Earth from another planet and she looks for a friend.

As part of this work, the children have also created and described their own alien friend for Beegu.

To celebrate all their hard work, we would like to invite the children to come dressed up as an alien on Friday 11th October.

During the day, we have planned some fun activities for the children including painting an alien and making alien accessories.

Can we please ask that if your child dresses up, they donate £1 which will go towards the cost of our WOW day in November (a visit from a planetarium).

In Science, the children will be exploring materials and their properties and as part of this they will be carrying out an experiment protecting an egg (an astronaut falling from space). So we would like to invite you to come and join the fun on Tuesday 15th October and see what the children have been learning.
